Broadcasting Bio: Jevin Redman is currently the radio voice of Division I University of Evansville Men’s Basketball and Baseball on the Purple Aces Sports Network from Learfield IMG College. Redman also announces for ESPN3 at UE, broadcasting volleyball, women’s basketball, baseball, and softball. Redman hosts the weekly Coach Todd Lickliter Show during the basketball season as well as emceeing events and caravans.
Prior to the move to Evansville, he served as the radio play-by-play voice for Western Kentucky University Women’s Basketball and one season as a fill-in with WKU Football on The Hilltopper IMG Sports Network. At WKU, Redman hosted the weekly Coach Michelle Clark-Heard Show during the basketball season. Redman earned his professional start right out of college with the Louisville Bats (Triple-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds), serving as the #2 broadcaster and media relations’ intern. Most recently, Redman was recognized as part of the Sportscasters’ Talent Agency of America’s “30 under 30’ in the nation. He graduated from the University of Southern Indiana in 2017. While attending college there, Redman was twice named a STAA All-American, ranked in the Top 20 in the country as part of the Jim Nantz Awards. In 2019 Redman's Play-by-Play call of Evansville beating #1 Kentucky at Rupp Arena was featured on SportsCenter accompanying the #1 play on SC Top 10. |
